Requirements

A National Diploma in Purchasing Management, Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management coupled with four years experience or a Bachelors degree in Purchasing Management, Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management coupled with three years experience.

Duties

  • Liaison with internal customers in finalizing scopes of work and specifications of procurement requirements
  • Co-ordinate supplier performance and evaluations and recommend corrective actions were required
  • Preparing tender documents for advertising and distribution of interested bidders
  • Evaluation of tenders and recommending to supervisor or higher authority for approval
  • Ensuring that required goods and services are available as an when required, match and consolidate demand inline with approved budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with supply chain management policy in carrying out the above tasks
  • Ensuring value for money is attained and develop tactics and methods to optimize to avoid wastage/excesses.
  • Applyinh proper approved procedures and contracting principles in engaging suppliers
