  • Plan, build, optimise and implement innovative machine learning solutions, primarily for financial fraud problems.
  • Extract data from various platforms and analyse for feature exploration.
  • Perform analytics and visualisations to aid Exploratory Data Analysis and engineer new features for models.
  • Understanding of feature development
  • Experience with Python, DataRobot, SAS advantageous. Understanding of various ML Algorithms.
  • Competency in coding, SQL.
  • Self driven to improve models.
  • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
  • Self manage, can seek out colleagues to find data, information etc
  • Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes.
  • Develop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to make organisational improvements.
  • Professional documentation and ability to present at forums.
  • Contribute to creative business solutions, optimisation of processes and conduct statistical modelling and data analysis to inform strategic decisions, under limited supervision.
  • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:
  • Minimum Qualification – Honours Degree in Computer Science, Stats,
  • Machine Learning or Data Science would be preferable.
  • Experience – 3/5 years relevant experience.
