ERP Syspro Systems Specialist – Cape Town (Northern Suburbs).

A well-established Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for an ‘’ERP Syspro Systems Specialist’’ to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual specializing in the development, implementation, and maintenance of ERP systems within our manufacturing company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing our business processes and workflows through the effective utilization of ERP systems, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of ERP systems tailored to the specific needs of our manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through ERP system integration.
  • Design and customize ERP solutions to streamline production planning, inventory management, supply chain operations, and quality control processes within our manufacturing environment.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the configuration, testing, and deployment of ERP modules to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
  • Train and support end-users in utilizing ERP systems effectively, and provide ongoing technical assistance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Work closely with the IT & Automation team and external vendors to resolve system issues and implement upgrades or enhancements as required.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging ERP technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within our manufacturing operations.

Position Requirements (Qualifications and Skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of ERP systems, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP software platforms specifically Syspro.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading ERP implementation projects from conception to completion.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Certificate = “SYSPRO 8 User System Administration Role” preferred and/or “SYSPRO Developer” (beneficial)
