Requirements

  • Relevant three year tertiary qualification (e.g. National Diploma
or B-Degree)

  • 2-5 years’ relevant experience within a finance environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within specified
timeframes

Key Performance Areas

  • Performing quality assurance checks and submitting department
budgets for approval as part of the annual budget preparation

processes.

  • Investigating financial performance against budget through
performing checks on the departmental cost centres and

Capital and Operating projects

  • Ensure that adjustments are made according to expenditure
patterns.

  • Providing guidance and training to the personnel on financial
and accounting systems application and information recording

and updating procedures

  • Ensuring the timeous processing of GRN’s and SES on SAP for
goods and services

  • Providing input into the compilation of Request for Quotation and
Quotation Initiation documents

  • Training the financial support staff in the department on all matters
pertaining to budgetary and financial administration

  • Facilitate the implementation of corporate financial related policies
and procedures in support of legislation, good governance and

service delivery
