The Position

The Marketing Intern will assist and support the POD and the Marketing Enabler with various aspects of marketing, gaining practical experience in the field.

Main tasks and responsibilities
As a marketing intern in the pharmaceutical industry, your scope of
work may include:

  • Market Research: learn the skills to research pharmaceutical market trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating marketing content, including brochures, presentations, and online materials.
  • Digital Marketing: Support digital marketing efforts, including social media management, email campaigns, and website maintenance to enhance the companys online presence.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating pharmaceutical events, conferences, and product launches to promote brand awareness.
  • Product Positioning: Contribute to developing strategies for positioning pharmaceutical products in the market, considering target audiences and competitive landscape.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze marketing data and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries, gather feedback, and contribute to improving customer satisfaction through marketing initiatives.

Required experience and skills
NQF7/8 in Marketing, in Commerce or Science
