Our client, an accounting firm specializing in tax accounting, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support in their office. This entry-level position offers the opportunity for growth within the company and comprehensive training in the financial industry.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in finance and accounting with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; college education is a plus but not required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
A keen interest in finance and accounting with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the reception area, including answering and directing phone calls, greeting clients, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.
Support the administrative team in organizing meetings, scheduling appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Work closely with senior staff to assist in various administrative and clerical tasks.
Learn and understand basic tax accounting principles and procedures through on-the-job training.
Develop proficiency in using office software and tools for efficient workflow management.
