Small publishing business involved in trade publishing, specifically in the plastics and composites industry sectors requires a Journalist.

The role:

  • Edit text (many of the stories published are supplied via the press departments of many of the international material and machinery manufacturers and industry organisations);
  • Write articles and take photographs and conduct interviews with people in the industry, visit companies, attend industry events and trade shows and get involved in the sectors covered;
  • Interact with advertisers and readers;
  • Sell adverts;
  • Update the website, design and send out emailers and manage the general process of internet marketing.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Journalism, Languages, or Media Studies.
  • Experience working as a Journalist.
  • Relevant computer skills.
  • Passion for media.
  • Valid driver’s license.
