  • Develop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG.
  • Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters.
  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders, that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions.
  • Provide input into the tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of Group and R&C functional risk strategic objectives.
  • Manage the risk profile components within your responsibility end to end, including policies, procedures, practices, capabilities, reporting and insights.
  • Embed requirements from your areas of practice R&C wide by providing risk management strategies, tools, and methodologies to the area of responsibility to mitigate the risk of loss or breaches of appetite.
  • Exercise oversight and provide guidance for the risk areas within your portfolio including measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of risk mitigating techniques.
  • Engage in cross-functional relationships to obtain and to provide work support across multiple risk domains to identify and manage risk exposure.
  • Demonstrate leadership behavior through personal involvement, commitment, and dedication in support of organisational values.
  • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing cultural interventions, training, and awareness development.
  • Demonstrate optimization expertise and knowledge including understanding of unit rates, process enhancements, digitization, and transformation.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
  • Have a degree or post graduate degree in business or risk related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level.
