For this period the incumbent will form part of the marketing team specifically the development with regards to our online platform....

A 12-month SETA internship exists within our marketing department based in Cape Town. This internship is aimed at recent graduated individuals to gain valuable workplace experience within the field. For this period the incumbent will form part of the marketing team specifically the development with regards to our online platform.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the development team to integrate and synchronise product listings between WooCommerce and the marketplace platform (e.g., Amazon).
Monitor and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies related to product syncing, ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms.
Stay updated with the latest marketplace platform APIs and best practices for product integration and synchronisation
Analyse data and metrics related to product performance on the marketplace platform, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
Support other tasks related to e-commerce web development operations.
Requirements
Strong interest in e-commerce
Basic understanding of WordPress/WooCommerce and marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon Seller Central)
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred qualifications
Relevant qualification
Maximum of six months relevant experience
Previous experience with product listing management or marketplace integration tools
Knowledge of Amazon Marketplace APIs and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Understanding of basic programming concepts (e.g., APIs, JSON).
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
