Duties/Pligte
  • Responsible for sample preparation of LCMS analyses and general laboratory work;
  • Supporting LCMS analyses where necessary;
  • Collecting samples from the Department of Agrculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (Stellenbosch) using the CAF vehicle.

  • Verantwoordelik vir die monstervoorbereiding van LCMS analises en algemene laboratoriumwerk;
  • Ondersteun LCMS analises waar nodig;
  • Afhaal van monsters by die Departement van Landbou, Grondhervorming en Landelike Ontwikkeling (Stellenbosch) met SAF se voertuig.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
  • BSc degree with biochemistry or chemistry as main subjects;
  • Basic level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word;
  • Excellent communication, time management and organising skills;
  • The ability to work within a team as well as independently;
  • A valid drivers licence (Code B or higher).

  • BSc graad met biochemie of chemie as hoofvakke;
  • Basiese kennis van Microsoft Excel en Word;
  • Goeie kommunikasie-, tydsbestuur- en organiseringsvaardighede;
  • Die vermoë om in spanverband sowel as onafhanklik te werk;
  • n Geldige rybewys (Kode B of hoër).
Recommendation/Aanbeveling
  • BSc Honors degree in biochemistry or chemistry;
  • Laboratory experience;
  • HPLC/LCMS experience.
